Must Watch Edits From The 21 Winter Season

Ski & Snowboard Video Edits 2021

Snow has already started falling across Europe and some of the glaciers are seeing a lot of action, both in the parks and in the side country. We’ve pulled together the finest ski and snowboard edits that have been dropped in the run up to winter, perfect fuel for the proverbial fire, and enough powder to get your snow-stoke high.

Second Chance

Our very own. Florent Demaere, pro drone pilot, and official FLŌA Ambassador, returns to North Norway where in 2017 whilst on a skiing trip to to explore the stunning Arctic fjords, was lucky to escape when he and his crew set off an avalanche whilst filming. His first feature film is set in the backdrop of the Lyngen Alps exploring the environmental change in one of nature's most beautiful playgrounds

13 year-old destroys Jackson Hole backcountry

We were blown away by the footage of this 13 year-old ripper from Idaho. Powder magazine recently dropped an interview with Kai Jones, the teenage wonder-kid along with the incredible edit of him tearing up Jackson Hole. Expect big things from this kid.

Action Men - Legs of Steel

The powder in this new little short from Red Bull has us itching for the mountains. The edit shows the Legs of Steel crew’s road trip last winter. Expect insane lines and some epic natural hits from former Freeride World Tour Champion Markus Eder and British backcountry assassin Paddy Graham.

Made In Voyage

The full release of this beautiful ski film was scuppered due to COVID, but has been dropping via digital, streamed screenings throughout November and into December. Check the trailer and get psyched for slow-mo footage of deep powder turns, dramatic scenery, and B-roll of this 1960s school bus road trip. Oh, and check out that road gap!

Burton - One World

We’d expect nothing less form the vanguard of modern snowboarding. Burton have recently released this monumental snowboard film. One World is a unifying team movie from one of the most respected names in the game. Poignant, thought provoking and full of the high class shredding you’d expect from this stable. Check out the trailer, and the full movie is available across iTunes, Amazon Prime, and Vimeo.

Billabong - INAKA

Who better than Wolle Nyvelt to lead the charge in this sombre short from Billabong. Putting turns in both snow and water, the Billabong Adventure Division spent time in Iwanaii, Hokkaido. A Japanese sojourn that gets us hungry for the colder, bleaker days of winter that lay ahead.

DC - Genre

From double kinked handrails, to Japanese pillow lines, this edit from DC not only features a pumping soundtrack, but showcases the diversity of fun-filled snowboard shenanigans in the mountains.
