The Freeride World Tour Is Back With A Bang
In case you missed it the 2020 Freeride World Tour kicked off in Hakuba, Japan last week in what is fast becoming one of the most eagerly comps of the backcountry calendar.
Known for its white fluffy powder, challenging lines and growing local scene (did someone mention sushi) Hakuba was blessed as riding royalty strode into town.
Despite challenging conditions American FWT veteran Drew Tabke put down a trademark run blending in big airs whilst Norwegian Hedvig Wessel's massive backflip was enough to leave the field in her wake.
On the snowboard side Victor De Le Rue again showed his class to lay down the win whilst Marion Haerty won with a stylish run to make it both champions successfully defending their 2019 titles.
